PBA and Grandview Homes Donate $20,000
to All CHildren's Hospital
Grandview Homes and the Pasco
Building Association (PBA) recently donated $20,000
to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.
The money was raised from the sale and completion
of the 2004 Showcase Home in the neighborhood
of Sabalwood at River Ridge in New Port Richey.
The 2,161 square foot home featuring three
bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two car garage, was built
by Grandview Homes. "We are very excited to donate the
money from proceeds of the Showcase Home sale for the
children's hospital," said Nita Beckwith, executive director
of PBA.
All Children's Hospital provides specialized
care for children of all ages, from newborns through
teens. More than 140 pediatric specialists and sub-specialists
provide state-of-the-art care at this 216-bed teaching
hospital affiliated with the University of South Florida
College of Medicine.
"We also want to thank all the generous
companies and individuals for their contribution in
the form of donations, services and materials toward
the Showcase Home," said Beckwith, whose PBA boasts a
membership of 400. About 80 PBA associates took part
in making the Showcase Home a success. |
